For over 10 years, Punch Lane has been regarded as Melbourne's leading wine bar set in the heart of the city's bustling theatre district.

The historic lane off Little Bourke Street that gives the restaurant its name was the centre of Melbourne's red light district in the late 1800s. The building was the city's original police station and over the years has housed the vice squad and ASIO.
