The Nixon Hotel is situated on the corner of Bourke Street and Batman Hill Drive, Docklands. It is diagonally opposite Gate 3 of Etihad Stadium and to the North directly opposite Quest Serviced apartments, Devine apartments, Bendigo Bank, Channel 7 and Vic Urban Headquarters.

The Nixon incorporates a restaurant, separate bistro area, outdoor seating area with views to the Eastern cityscape and Telstra Dome’s big screen, as well as a large standing floor space to cater for those patrons streaming over from Telstra Dome, both pre and post game and event days. The Dome now encompasses not only AFL, but is also the home ground of last years National Football champions the Melbourne Victory, and is scheduled to host Rugby Tri Nations matches, the One Day Cricket Series and is also fast becoming the destination “events” arena for some of the larger musical concert events that Rod Laver Arena simply doesn’t have the capacity to cater for. Last year the Dome hosted U2 and Robbie Williams just to name a few.
